Felice Minkin is a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health & Wellness Coach, Certified Yoga Instructor RYT 200, and Meditation Coach. She is dedicated to positively changing the health of women and men through nutrition, self care and shifts in beliefs.
Felice, lovingly referred to as “Earth Mother” by her co-workers in the past, has been studying nutrition and health for close to 30 years, mostly to investigate the causes of her own health issues and driven by an insatiable need to heal them. Since her early teen years, when she was diagnosed with “IBS”, she began to study and experiment with many nutritional practices and how food and emotions affect the body.
Even though she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design, and has worked in design for many years, she continued to study natural and nutritional health and wellness on her own time.She was very “healthy” on the outside; working out and staying active, but still having major sugar cravings, and experiencing several digestive issues. Co-workers, family and friends continued to learn from her food and health practices, and continued to seek health and wellness advice from her.
In 2009, she graduated as a RYT 200 hour Yoga Teacher, and began to share more of what she had learned. After working with a Health Coach herself in 2012, she learned to naturally release sugar cravings that had trapped her for so long and incorporate new foods into her diet. She studied more nutritional theories and learned from several practitioners how to develop the emotional components of well-being.
In 2015, knowing Felice has helped friends, family and co-workers with their wellness questions, a friend suggested she might consider helping others “officially”and get certified as a health practitioner. She decided to attend the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, an intensive integrative health and nutrition program, studying over 100 dietary theories combined with lifestyle and its effects on health. She coached many fellow students during this time.
Felice currently lives in Florida, and coaches both remotely and in person to individuals and groups, and also teaches workshops on blasting away sugar cravings, losing weight, eating healthier on a busy schedule and feeling stronger. She teaches yoga and meditation every week both publicly and privately. Felice’s current focus is on women’s and men’s health with an emphasis on the impact of a stressful lifestyle and mind-set on health, weight, cravings, willpower, disease, and hormone imbalances, as well as helping to reduce dependence on medications. She helps clients become accountable and digs deep with clients to bring core issues and feelings to the surface, where real and lasting changes happen.
